Kestra Medical Technologies secures $200M loan facility

Kestra Medical Technologies, headquartered in Kirkland, secured a five-year term loan facility worth up to $200 million to support continued growth of its wearable cardioverter defibrillator business. The financing includes an initial $75 million tranche and additional funding tied to future revenue milestones and acquisition opportunities.

According to Brian Webster, president and CEO, the financing provides “significant financial flexibility” as it continues to expand commercialization of its Assure wearable cardioverter defibrillator system. Kestra said the funding will support its growth strategy while strengthening its balance sheet and providing additional liquidity.

The investment reflects continued momentum for Washington’s medical device sector and supports the growth of one of the state’s emerging cardiovascular technology companies.
