Just-Evotec Biologics launches turnkey continuous manufacturing platform
Seattle-based Just-Evotec Biologics launched J.TRAIN, a turnkey platform that allows biopharmaceutical companies to implement the company’s continuous biologics manufacturing technology within their own facilities.
The platform combines modular cleanrooms, manufacturing equipment, process automation and technology licensing to help customers set up biologics manufacturing more efficiently. J.TRAIN is designed to shorten deployment timelines, increase manufacturing flexibility and provide integrated validation, documentation and training to support regulatory readiness. Linda Zuckerman, EVP and global head of Just-Evotec, said the platform will help manufacturers “increase capacity and manufacture biologics at reduced costs,” with deployment possible in as little as 18 months.
The launch highlights Just-Evotec Biologics’ continued role in advancing biomanufacturing in Washington and further strengthens the state’s growing reputation for innovation in biologics manufacturing and process development.
