CARE Board Awards Nearly $3.3M for Implementation and Outcomes Research Cycle 2 Grants
Washington state’s Andy Hill Cancer Research Endowment (CARE) Fund announced nearly $3.3 million in new funding through its annual Implementation and Outcomes Research Grants program to support local companies and researchers advancing cancer care.
The funding was awarded to Aptevo Therapeutics for development of a trispecific antibody for solid tumors, Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center for implementation of a liquid biopsy assay for small cell lung cancer, and Seattle Children’s Research Institute for research focused on improving quality of life for adolescent and young adult cancer survivors.
The grant awards recognize the strength of Washington’s cancer research ecosystem and support the work of organizations across the state that are turning research into new approaches for patient care.
