Lilly links up with InduPro in next-gen cancer treatment deal worth up to $950M

InduPro has entered a collaboration with Eli Lilly to discover new cancer treatments through a deal that could be worth up to $950 million.

Under the agreement, InduPro will work with Lilly on up to three undisclosed cancer targets and could receive milestone payments totaling as much as $950 million, with Lilly also making an undisclosed equity investment in the biotech. InduPro will lead early discovery using its AI and machine learning-enabled membrane interactomics platform, which analyzes how close tumor antigens are to each other in efforts to discover disease-specific protein-target pairs. “Our partnership with Lilly underscores a shared commitment to advancing a new generation of tumor selective medicines guided by the spatial biology of cancer,” CEO Prakash Raman said in a release.

The collaboration underscores Seattle’s leadership in AI-powered drug discovery, as advanced platforms continue to attract major pharmaceutical partnerships with long-term development potential.
