Seattle longevity startups unite: Viome acquires plasma exchange pioneer Circulate Health
Two Seattle-area health and longevity startups are joining forces as Viome Life Sciences acquires Circulate Health in a deal valued between $15 million and $50 million. The acquisition will allow the companies to expand their reach and combine offerings across diagnostics, personalized health products and therapeutic plasma exchange.
Viome offers at-home testing of saliva, blood and stool samples, along with diagnostic tools that analyze RNA biomarkers to detect disease. Circulate provides therapeutic plasma exchange through specially trained nurses. Circulate previously operated in 40 health and longevity clinics, and combined with Viome’s existing clinic partnerships, the companies could potentially reach 400 sites.
This partnership reflects the strong collaboration Washington’s life sciences ecosystem was built on, which continues to drive new approaches to health and longevity.
