Ai2 and Google Cloud join Cancer AI Alliance with a total of $20M in commitments

The Allen Institute for AI (Ai2) is joining the Cancer AI Alliance, a national initiative led by Fred Hutch Cancer Center to accelerate cancer research through artificial intelligence.
Ai2 and Google Cloud are each committing $10 million to the effort, joining other major backers like AWS, Microsoft and NVIDIA to build a novel, cross-institutional AI infrastructure for analyzing large volumes of cancer data.
This collaboration highlights Seattle’s leadership at the intersection of AI and cancer research, with institutions like Ai2 and Fred Hutch spearheading data-driven innovation to shape the future of oncology.
