Omeros names chief accounting officer from within
Omeros Corp., a biopharmaceutical company based in Seattle, recently named David Borges their new chief accounting officer. Borges, who joined Omeros in June 2020, has excelled as the organization’s associate vice president of financial planning and analysis.
Prior to joining Omeros, Borgen spent the last five years as the vice president of finance and administration at Bulletproof 360, a health and wellness company. Before that, he was the chief financial officer for five years at Advanced Refreshment.
With Borgen assuming the CFO role, Omeros is in a strong position to innovate in the wake of securing a $6.7 million grant in April 2023 from the National Institute on Drug Abuse to develop a new treatment for patients with cocaine use disorder.
