University of Wash. Bothell and Cascadia College celebrate new STEM-focused Innovation Hall
The University of Washington Bothell and Cascadia College announced at a celebratory event their shared Innovation Hall, which will support students specializing in chemistry, computer science, physics and more.
The nearly $80 million building will open in January. It holds 80,000 square feet and features amenities including labs, classrooms, faculty offices and workspaces on their campuses.
“I’m excited about the opportunities this will bring for faculty as we comingle and collaborate rather than just coexist and co-locate,” said the dean of UW Bothell’s School of STEM, Leslie Cornick. “The future for our students as they enter this incredible building truly is boundless.”
