Life science company inks lease for more space in Bothell

AGC Biologics has leased nearly 35,000 square feet at the Element Research Center in Bothell, expanding its research footprint in the Seattle region.

The move complements AGC’s existing Seattle campus, which serves as a global R&D and manufacturing hub, handling everything from cell line development to large-scale production. “The new space is purpose-built for biotech and supports our continued momentum in the region, following a year of strong operational performance and regulatory success,” an AGC Biologics spokesperson said in an emailed statement.

This expansion underscores Bothell’s growing importance as a biotech subcluster and bolsters the local CDMO ecosystem in alignment with the region’s broader life sciences growth.
