Fred Hutch to rename clinic buildings after getting large donation boost
Seattle’s Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center has received a major philanthropic boost, with Stuart and Molly Sloan increasing their previous gift to a total of $100 million.
The donation will advance Fred Hutch’s precision oncology work, which leverages data and technology to help patients and doctors navigate cancer. “Fred Hutch relies significantly on the generosity of donors, and renaming our two clinic buildings the Sloan Clinic is an important acknowledgement of the demonstrated commitment the Sloans have to advancing discoveries that can save lives,” said Fred Hutch President Thomas Lynch.
With this additional investment, Fred Hutch reinforces its role as the region’s leading institution in oncology innovation, driving progress that benefits patients on a national scale.
