These Seattle-area life science startups raised $595 million in 36 hours. Here’s what’s going on.
In less than 36 hours between the evening of Jan. 12 and the morning of Jan. 14, three local life science companies raised a combined total of $595 million.
Tune Therapeutics, which has dual headquarters in Seattle and Durham, N.C., raised a $175 million Series B round, Bellevue-based Truveta announced a $320 million round, and Umoja Biopharma raised $100 million in Series C funding.
