Jubilant HollisterStier growth pushes to lead Spokane

Jubilant HollisterStier, led by CEO and president Chris Preti, is undergoing a significant expansion and projects to become the No. 1 biomanufacturer in Spokane, Washington. The expansion is scheduled to be completed by 2025 and is supported by $150 million in American Rescue Plan funding. In addition, it will add 160,000 square feet to the building, increasing the premises to 480,000 square feet.

The project has the potential to supply vaccines to nearly every American; Preti states that once the expansion is completed, Jubilant HollisterStier “will be able to make over 60 million vials in a year which translates to 300 million patient doses.” To address the workforce shortage, Preti and other manufacturers are partnering with K-12 educators, trade, and higher education institutions.

Jubilant HollisterStier’s expansion will greatly improve the accessibility of injection products for every American and add 400 jobs to the Spokane area, increasing its workforce to 1,200 – the most of any manufacturer in Spokane.
