Seattle startups move into growing science cluster in South Lake Union

Dexter Yard, a new, two-tower complex in Seattle, is becoming a home for several biotech companies moving into the space.

Outpace Bio, Parse Biosciences and Shape Therapeutics are among the new tenants. The location offers over 200,000 square feet of lab space and nearly 300,000 square feet for offices, and 45% of the space has already been leased.

“This new complex is really becoming the new epicenter in South Lake Union for some of the most innovative companies in the field,” said Marc Lajoie, CEO of Outpace Bio.

Seattle is currently constructing 1.6 million total square feet of life science spaces, with over half already pre-leased to companies.
