UW spinout A-Alpha Bio moves off campus to Belltown tower
Seattle-based biotech, A-Alpha Bio, is a new resident of an 11,000-square-foot office space in Belltown tower after the move from the University of Washington’s Fluke Hall. The 40-person team has customized the space to accommodate their exact lab needs.
The company generates protein interaction data and studies how protein interaction can lead to new treatments.
A-Alpha nearly doubled its headcount in 2022 and will add around 10 new employees over the next six months to a year. Within the next year, the company also plans to advance internal work and introduce new partnerships with pharmaceutical companies.
