Naveen Jain’s microbiome and diagnostics startup Viome is raising more cash

Seattle-area startup Viome Life Sciences secured $67 million in funding, increasing its total capital raise to over $125 million.

The company sells kits that determine the microbial composition of stool samples, recommending “precision” supplements and antibiotics based on the results. It projected last year that it would hit $100 million in revenue in 2022. As of April 2021, it said it had over 200,000 customers.
