Seattle biotech startup Ozette lands $26M from Microsoft, Madrona, others to analyze immune cells

Ozette Technologies, a single-cell analysis startup with roots in Seattle, has raised $26 million in a new funding round led by Madrona Partners and Microsoft, among others.

The company specializes in advanced biomedical techniques that examine up to 40 different proteins on the surface of cells concurrently, enabling researchers to pinpoint and quantify immune cell types from massive datasets. The funding will allow Ozette to expand its toolsets and conduct research in spatial biology, in addition to growing its staff.

The startup is currently hiring for engineering, product management, research and development, translation science and business development positions.
