CorneaGen creates transplant surgery fund, internship for Black community
CorneaGen, a Seattle-based provider of corneal transplant tissue, committed to donating $100,000 to help fund corneal transplant surgeries for underprivileged people of color in need of assistance. In addition, the company is offering nearly $20,000 in three paid summer internships to bring Black high school students into the ophthalmology profession.
